elindra SG Coz we don't go around shopping for prices. We just chose the venue where we had the best memories and then tell the hotel what we want and leave everything to them. And coz ours is not a sitdown dinner but a buffet we could use a pretty function hall. Make-up I just asked my friend to settle for me Photography by my Uncle since he is free-lancing anyway Dress was off the rack Parents sent the invitation cards on our behalf
Wanda SG Actually, I was thinking of both my bros...their weddings had all the works....esp the eldest bro...but the first marriage din last. >_<
viciouskitty74 SG Oooohhhh yah! thats what was done by the sister of a ex bf. She went to Canada to study. Comes back Singapore. The families was waiting to receive her at the airport. Sees her come back with a man and a baby in her arms. Father face was so red and ready to explode in anger. She just put his grand daughter in his arms. And the baby gurggles at him. And all is well.
tare SG hanor hanor... why keep teasing av wor? but he does need a gf.... and he said he's gonna do something abt it.... AV have u STARTED?
elindra SG For me we just treated the buffet dinner as a treat lor Some of them gave ang bao though we told them no need
honeymouse SG That's good. I think at the end of the day, as long as it worked out well for you and your SO, that's all it matters. It's important to have a wedding you want instead of a wedding someone else want you to have.
sillyme SG I think for wedding arrangements, it's a give and take lah. Sometimes you agree because you don't want to put your partner in a difficult position.
the_don SG here is the reason why i wanted so badly to stay in aus after graduation.... but fate has a weird way of turning life around. now i am still in sg, holding my damn aus PR, seeing my aussie dream slip away. life is so full of surprises
elindra SG Actually coz no time also coz I was out of the country for almost a month for work and Mr Pinky Bear tagged along as well Yeah but it was good coz less arguments that way Heck for my wedding jewellery etc to go with my dress I got everything overseas including the wedding favours
choco B SG Yar Size is not the problem, really. It's when you "must have it exactly like that", or must "follow principles", or "I just CANNOT DO IT", that problems arise.
viciouskitty74 SG Agree. and that includes in at least a tea ceremony for myself. A mark of respect for both families. I can hate them later.
elindra SG Maybe one day things will change too and you find yourself living the Oz dream For me it's very hard la Mr Pinky Bear don't wanan leave SG
stellazio SG i think if i brought a grandchild home, they'll keep the baby and throw me out of the house.
